Audio rendition: live at a wedding

Notes post listening

Reflection: This was a song that I learned on my own in the 90’s before lyrics were easily available-which basically meant painstakingly write down every line first then learn to sing one line at a time. Drove every one around me nuts, but I didn’t care. I heard and heard and heard with intensity that surprises me when I think about it. And Balamuralikrishna was my cassette guru. And this song got embedded in my blood. Recently at a friend’s wedding, they played it(live) as the bride walked. I bawled. Couldn’t stop myself and it was not like this friend and me were chaddi dosts, I just cried. It was the song. There was such a sense of being there and being part of the space that it was overwhelming. Truest form of Hearing and Sensing that I could feel (until now).
